Vzhledem k tomu, že úplatkářství a jiné formy korupce jsou ve většině zemí nezákonné, snaží se aktéři korupčního jednání své praktiky skrývat a odhalit korupci je často téměř nemožné. Byla odhalena již celá řada negativních důsledků korupce, například na vývoj hrubého domácího produktu, míru nezaměstnanosti či důvěryhodnost země odrazující potenciální investory. Z těchto důvodů vynakládají vlády zemí nemalé finanční a jiné prostředky na budování účinné protikorupční politiky. Metody e-governmentu lze využít jako jeden z možných způsobů snižování míry korupce v zemi. Prostřednictvím snižování interakcí mezi úředníky a veřejností. Literatura zaměřující se na problematiku e-governmentu ve veřejné správě naznačuje, že elektronická dodávka služeb může snížit korupci tím, že minimalizuje interakci s úředníky, urychluje rozhodování a snižuje pravděpodobnost lidských chyb. Tento příspěvek je zaměřen na potenciální roli e-governmentu ve snižování míry korupce v zemi. eng	Impact of e-Government at the Level of Corruption	Fighting corruption is a very challenging and difficult. Due to the fact that bribery and other forms of corruption are illegal practices in most countries, the actors of corruption are trying to hide their behavior and revelation of corruption is almost impossible. Negative effects on development of gross domestic product, unemployment rate or credibility of the country discouraging foreign investors have been shown as a result of corruption. For this reason countries spend considerable financial and other resources to build an effective anticorruption policy. E-government methods could be use as a possible way to reduce corruption by reducing the interaction between officials and the public. The literature focused on e-government methods in relation to corruption suggests that electronic service delivery can reduce corruption by minimizing the interactions with officials, accelerating decisions and reducing human errors. This paper is focused on the potential role of e-government in reducing the level of corruption in the country. Specifically, this paper examines the impact of the use of e-government on corruption in 117 countries all over the world, regardless of their geographic location or political regime.	corruption;e-Government;Corruption Perception Index;E-Government Development Index
