Části šetření vnímání užitků veřejných služeb a následné ocenění jejich užitků jsou uvedeny v souvislosti s tímto příspěvkem ohledně veřejných knihoven, protože knihovny poskytují občanům širokou škálu služeb, které jsou považovány za služby veřejné. Cílem je rozhodnout, zda existence knihovny přináší lidem či klientům knihovny užitky a zda jsou či nejsou schopni ocenit tyto užitky. eng	Benefit arising from the Providing of Public Services – Application on MLP Survey Data	The main objective of public service is to satisfy the public needs of society and to maximize the benefits to the individual users of those services. Perception of the importance of public services lies in the difficulty of determining the benefits of these services for society and the economy as a whole. Areas of investigation into the perceived benefits of public services and subsequent valuation of the benefits are provided in the context of this paper by public libraries, because libraries provide citizens with a wide range of services that are considered as public services. The aim is to decide whether the existence of the library brings people or the clients of the library benefits and whether or not they are able to appreciate these benefits. The result of the paper will be a definition of the most widely used library services and the value of the benefits which the library brings to its clients.	effectiveness;public services;public libraries;benefit;evaluation;public finance
