The project focuses on the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises, the applicability of financial indicators, investment opportunities and, in this context, on the specifics of the financial sector. In terms of the environment in which businesses operate, both the growth factors of regional environment quality and the risks associated with its effective development are monitored. Within the public sector, the quality of life in the Czech Republic is also evaluated in particular for the municipalities with extended powers. The project consists of ten specific activities, which are further described in the Appendix. These are: (1) Current Trends in the Management and Marketing; (2) Performance Management and Tools for Enhancing Business Competitiveness; (3) The Comparison of Selected Stock Exchanges; (4) Trends and Risks of Effective Development of Region; (5) The Selection of the Financial Indicators in Relation to their Usefulness in Assessing the Effectiveness of Corporate Investments and Financial Stability; (6) Quality Growth Factors of Regional Environment; (7) Chybí ; (8) Support for Research and Presentation Activities of Students in Master's and Doctoral Programs System Engineering and Informatics and Applied Informatics; (9) Analysis and Optimization of Portfolio Composition of the Energy Mix Resources used within the ČR; and (10) Application of Quantitative Methods in Theory and Practice of Financial Sector. The aim of the project is to identify factors affecting the development of the private and public sector using management, mathematical and information science methods.
