From December 1 to 5, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Administration at the University of Pardubice hosted the BIP Erasmus+ International Finance and Trade Insights (INFI) project. Students from Cyprus and Italy came to Pardubice to discover together how international finance, trade, and economic interconnections work.

Main topics of BIP INFI 2025

How are macroeconomic indicators linked to international trade?

Why are central banks and their monetary policy so important?

How do companies deal with uncertainty, global chains, and financial risks?

What happens during financial crises and how do they affect global trade?

How can all this be used to create a strategy for a company?

The program was not just about theory – students took part in a workshop with experts from the Czech National Bank, where they got a behind-the-scenes look at monetary policy. There was also an analysis of real case studies and a presentation of the final team project.

BIP INFI was also about experiences! Students got to know Pardubice, played a pub quiz, attended two hockey games, and ended the week with an adrenaline-filled laser game.

We would like to thank our partners, European University Cyprus and Lumsa Universita.

  • Do students need to pay any fees?
No. Students will not be required to pay fees to enrol.
  • How can I apply?
Students can apply by completing the application form on the website fes.upce.cz/en and students have to submit the applications for Erasmus+ mobility at their home university.
  • Where will I find accommodation in Pardubice?
No need to look for accommodation, we have already booked a room for you at the TRIM hotel near the campus!
  • How can I pay for my stay during the physical part in Pardubice?
All students receive financial support from their home University through an Erasmus+ grant, so you don't have to worry about not being able to financially manage a week's stay in the Czech Republic.
