Description:
??The project examines novel methods for regional development in Europe, addressing current challenges faced by European regions, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, digitalisation, and other factors that affect the sustainability and competitiveness of regions and their innovation systems. The primary aim of the project is to analyse how these factors facilitate or impede regional development. Supporting these areas is crucial for the long-term economic growth of individual regions, as well as for improving the quality of life and social cohesion in those regions. The project involves designing and implementing a variety of analyses that focus on different aspects of regional development. These include factors that affect the competitiveness and resilience of regions, regional innovation systems, sustainable entrepreneurship, insurance, the digital economy, and effective cooperation between municipalities. The analyses will primarily use quantitative methods, such as available data, questionnaires, case studies, and other techniques. The project is unique in that it combines thorough analyses from the fields of innovation, economics, law, and politics, with a focus on specific aspects of regional development that are frequently overlooked or under-researched. As a result, it enhances our comprehension of the dynamics of the regional environment and offers practical tools for promoting sustainable development in European regions.?
