The project aims to introduce the concept of smart cities and regions - Smart Cities and Regions within the current trend of digital economy development. This concept puts emphasis on effective use of existing and new sources, reduce energy consumption, elimination of environmental burdens, optimize traffic and data sharing for public purposes with the aim of improving the quality of life of the population. The project proposed models are intended for more effective implementation of smart concept and its evaluation. The aim of the project is to link research activities gifted students (masters and doctoral programs) and academics in computer science and systems engineering in public administration and applied informatics. they used the methods of analysis processes and information flow, soft computing, data mining, image processing methods and questionnaires for the project.
