Admission to the programme proceeds at both universities (Pardubice/Vilnius) according to the general regulations for admission valid in the countries, and also on the basis of additional admission criteria established at the universities in a set order. The decision, organising further admissions to the Programme, is made by the Management Committee of the Programme.

3. Pay Assessment fee of CZK 600 for recognition of previous bachelor education. In case, that applicant will provide czech recognition of bachelor education (nostrification), no fees will be paid to University of Pardubice. The administrative fee is non-refundable.

Tuition fees have been set for CZK 10 000,- (EUR 400) for best 10 accepted applicants with at least 60% points from entrance exams. Tuition fees for the other accepted applicants have been set for CZK 35 000 (EUR 1400). The accepted applicants is obliged to pay the whole amount of the tuition fee per academic year latest by the enrollement for the study.
The applicant is obliged to enclose curriculum vitae in English, copy of passport, two passport photographs and supporting documents (certified copies verified by the official notary - not the originals!) for assessment of applicant´s previous education. The joint study branch enrols individuals who have graduated from first-cycle university-type studies and meet the following requirements:
- A first-cycle university-type study programme completed and the Bachelor’s Degree awarded.
Foreign Education Verification | Univerzita Pardubice (upce.cz) - at least B2 level of English command according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages achieved.
- Submitted extended abstract (4 to 5 pages) in English of the Bachelor’s thesis or Seminar Project, focused on the methods used and the results achieved.
- The extended abstract must include: aims, methodology, main results and contributions.
- A study fee for the first year must be paid immediately after being accepted.
If you wish to study in the Programme, but your major or minor field of graduated first-cycle studies is different, or you graduated from college studies and obtained Professional Bachelor’s Degree, you should attend additional studies, which are offered by Vilnius University. Additional courses are chosen individually with regard to the structure of applicant’s earlier obtained competences.
The level of English can be proven by these documents: supplement of the undergraduate (first-cycle) education diploma with the assessment for a study subject of a foreign language (English) (at least 6 ECTS credits), or a certificate of English test results (TOEFL Paper 513-547, TOEFL IBT 65-78, IELTS 5.5-6.0 levels) or another document certifying B2 level command of English.
Submitting an extended abstract in English of the thesis or project focused on the objective, methods used and results achieved. The length should be 4 to 5 pages. The abstract contains only the following parts: objectives, methods used, description of the data used, main results and benefits of the thesis. The formal structure of the abstract corresponds with that of an academic article.
Structure of the extended abstract:
- Objective: a clear and unambiguous description of the main objective and partial objectives – 0 to 20 points
- Methods used: process and methods used to achieve the objective are clearly and unambiguously described – 0 to 20 points.
- Description of the data used: unambiguous indication of the data source and descriptive statistics – 0 to 20 points.
- Main results: clearly formulated – 0 to 20 points.
- Benefit of the thesis: clearly formulated – 0 to 20 points.
An extended abstract that does not contain all the required parts or does not respect the required number of pages will be scored 0 points. The above-mentioned criteria will be reviewed by the board (which will consist of 3 experts from the appropriate field of specialisation) anonymously.
Entrance text of the English language (online test)
The entrance examination of English is a written exam in the form of a test. Each entrance examination will be evaluated using the following score:
- Abstract of the Bachelor’s thesis: from 0 points, up to 100 points
- English language: 0 to 100 points
- The final score of the entrance examination is the total of the all acquired points (max. 200 points).
- Applicants with less than 20 points in any subject are considered unsuccessful.
- Applicants with at least 20 points in each subject can become a student of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of Pardubice after completing all necessary formalities.

The link for the entrance examination test will be sent via email to each applicant on the pre-arranged day. The applicant is given a certain amount of time to answer the questions. The questionnaire will be closed at the end of the specified time period and it will no longer be possible to enter your answers.
Taking Decisions on Acceptance
At most, a total of 40 applicants will be accepted into the full-time study programme based on their overall ranking.
In the event of a low number of applicants, the Dean of the Faculty may decide not to open a study programme.
Notice of Acceptance
The results of the admission procedure will be published on the University of Pardubice website.
The Dean's Admission Letter will be ready to be picked up or posted the same day (CZ post or another forwarder).
Review Proceedings
According to Sec. 50, par. 7 of the Act No. 111/1998 Sb., on Universities and the change and completion of other laws (Act on Universitites) as amended by the subsequent regulation, an applicant who has not been accepted or his/her authorised representative may apply for a review of the resolution within 30 days from the delivery day of the resolution, which should be sent to the attention of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration University of Pardubice.
Registration of Study
The student is obliged to appear on the day of registration, which is set up for the first week of the academic year.
Deferment of Study
It is not possible to apply for the deferment of study.

The tuition fee is set at 10 000 CZK (€400)/35 000 CZK (€1400) per academic year. The tuition fee does not include additional living costs and expenses, which could range from 20 000 CZK to 35 000 CZK depending on the type of accommodation and transport in Lithuania. The student is obliged to pay the whole tuition fee immediately after being accepted as a student of the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Pardubice, at the latest by the date of enrolment, which is in September 2024. Once paid, the tuition fee is refunded only after submitting a confirmation of visa denial issued by the authorized Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Department of Education at FEA (a processing fee of 30 EUR will be deducted from refunds on tuition fees).
