a)      Application for Admission to the Bachelor Programme

The deadline for submitting applications  for the 2022/2023 academic year is FEBRUARY 15th, 2023.  Applications will be available from December 1st, 2022 online at www.upce.cz. Application fee of CZK 2000,- must be paid till FEB 15th, 2023 and entrance tests will be send within 1st-15th March, 2023.

an administrative fee payment of CZK 2000,- will be send according to instructions received after submitting an application.

An application submitted without the above mentioned documents or an insufficiently filled-in application will not be registered and the applicant will be asked for immediate rectification. If the applicant doesn`t rectify the defects, he will not be able to participate in the selection procedure. The administrative fee is non-refundable.

A certificate regarding the applicant`s health condition is not required.

b)     Acceptance Requirements

The applicant must pass the entrance examination in Mathematics and English language (based on a secondary/high school curriculum) and submit a recognition of the secondary/high school education (+ confirmation of the secondary/high school licence - form in attachement). The applicant is required to pay the tuition fees during the time period specified below.

 c)      Entrance Examination Dates

 The entrance examination tests will be sent via email within first half of March 2023 to each applicant on the pre-arranged day. The applicant is given a specified amount of time for sending back the answer sheet. In the event that the applicant does not resend their answer sheet in the allotted time, the results of the entrance examination will not be considered.

d)     Entrance Examination Evaluation

The entrance examination is a written exam and it is in the form of a test. There will be 4 files in total sent to applicant´s email box (file 1 = test in mathematics, file 2 = test in English, file 3 = mathematics answer sheet, file 4 = English answer sheet). In the event the applicant answers the question correctly, they obtain a full score for that particular question. In the event the applicant does not know the correct answer, they are allowed to give up the right to answer the question, therefore the score will be 0.

Each entrance examination test will be evaluated with the following score:

  • Mathematics: from 0 points up to 100 points
  • English language: from 0 points up to 100 points

The final score of the entrance examination is the total of all acquired points (max. 200 points).

Applicants with less than 20 points in any subject were unsuccessful.

Applicants with at least 20 points in each subject can become a student of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of Pardubice after handling all necessary formalities.

e)      Taking Decisions on Acceptance

At most, a total of 40 applicants will be accepted in to the full time study programme based on their overall ranking.

f)       Notice of Acceptance

A written confirmation from the Dean of the Faculty in regards to the applicant´s acceptance will be sent to the applicant via certified mail within 30 days.

g)      Review Proceedings

According to the § 50, par. 7 of the law no. 111/1998 Col., on universities and the change and completion of other laws (Law on Universitites) as amended by the subsequent regulation, the applicant who has not been accepted or his/her authorized representative may apply for a review of the resolution within 30 days from the delivery day of the resolution, which should be sent to the attention of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration University of Pardubice.

h)   Assessment and Payment of Tuition Fee

The tuition fee is set to CZK 10 000 (EUR 400) per academic year for first 10 accepted applicants with at least 60% points reached in the entrance exams. The tuition fee is set to CZK 55 000,- (EUR 2 200) for the other applicants.  The accepted applicant is obliged to pay the whole amount of the tuition fee latest by the enrollement for the study. Once paid, the tuition fee is returnable only after submitting the confirmation of visa denial issued by the authorized Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Department of Education at FEA (refunds on tuition fees will be deducted a EUR 30 processing fee).

j)     Registration of Study

The student is obliged to appear on the day of registration at the Department of Education, which is set up for the first week of the academic year. For academic year 2022/23 the last  date for registration is set out for Sep 20th, 2023. In the event the student does not attend the registration of study and does not excuse their presence within 5 days, their studies will not be open.

l)         Deferment of Study

It is not possible to apply for the deferment of study.
