Last week, the first of a series of workshops was held at FEA, featuring PhD students of the FEA. They presented to each other the focus of their dissertations and the latest results of their scientific work. The workshop provided the PhD students with feedback on their recent achievements; they share with their colleagues what they are working on and where they need help. "Sharing information in this way can make it easier to connect those who are working on similar topics and can collaborate," says Associate Professor Viktor Prokop, the main organizer of the workshop. Feedback was provided by the students, and suggestions also came from many of the supervisors, as well as from postdoc Dr. Fazal ur Rehman, who is working temporarily at the Science and Research Centre at FEA. All participants agreed that they want to continue similar workshops, as they gain the necessary experience and lose their shyness when presenting in English, which they will use in their presentations at an international scientific conference.
