cze Možné souvislosti přijetí Eura v nových členských zemích V předkládaném textu je soustředěna pozornost na analýzu možných důsledků přijetí eura, v konkrétních podmínkách jednotlivých nových středoevropských (EU-5) a východoevropských (EU-8) členských zemí. V textu je analyzováno nejen plnění maastrichtských konvergenčních kritérií, na které se obvykle soustřeďují vládní a unijní instituce, ale i odlišnosti vztahu reálné a nominální konvergence. Rozhodnutí o vhodném termínu přijetí eura může mít významné dopady na další ekonomický vývoj a konkurenceschopnost země. Proto je při posuzování zralosti ekonomik k přijetí společné měny nutno brát v úvahu jak společné problémy, tak specifika uvedených zemí. eng Potential Consequences of the Adoption of the Euro in New Member States The submitted text focuses on analysis of potential consequences of the adoption of the Euro, in specific conditions of individual EU-5 and EU-8 countries (new EU member states in Central and Eastern Europe). The text analyses not only fulfillment of Maastricht convergence criteria, frequently dealt with by government and union institutions, but also addresses the issue of differences between real and nominal convergence. The decision about the suitable date of the adoption of the Euro can have considerable impacts on the following economic development and the competitiveness of the particular country. Therefore, when considering maturity of state economy in relation with the adoption of the Euro, it is necessary to take into account both the common problems and particulars of concerned countries. The analysis enables more exact and valuable view of balance of potential benefits and risks of the adoption of the Euro in these countries.
