The project focuses on smart regions. Their aim is, among others, to support the improvement of the quality of life of their inhabitants. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to have quality data, information and knowledge, which is an integral basis for evidence-based decision-making and subsequent influence on the further development of smart regions. The project focuses on innovative ways of using information technology for the development of smart regions, as well as for the necessary data acquisition and processing. The project focuses primarily on spatial data, but also pays attention to technologies that support public engagement by communicating suggestions to the public administration. Modern management approaches are also included. Attention is also paid to spatial data collection, in particular using UAVs.
