Description:
The current market environment is very turbulent due to regional as well as global changes to which all economic entities are exposed. It shows new social and economic characteristics reflected in social issues as well as in the business economy, financial management, investments, taxes and accounting. In the economic area, current changes affect the efficiency and performance of business entities, which is reflected in their competitiveness. In the social area, demographic effects are increasingly manifested, which not only management of companies, but also other market participants such as health care facilities, insurance companies and financial institutions have to cope with. The synergistic effect of economic and social changes can be both positive and negative. This implies that it is necessary to seek, describe and evaluate impacts from the external and internal environment of these entities, and therefore the research team will use scientific methods to analyze these changes and to discover the reasons that led to them. This will result in recommendations for reducing threats and exploiting opportunities, as well as for eliminating the weaknesses of monitored economic entities and developing their potential.
