Description:
The Regional Development is a relatively young discipline with a dynamic progress. It joins theoretical knowledge with practical implementation in form of regional policy, which has impact to life of millions of people not only in CZ and EU but also in every country practicing the regional policy. New study materials will reflect principles of new EU programming period and experiences of former periods. Although the CZ has more than 20 years long experience with regional policies, it is necessary to integrate foreign practices and knowledge from other countries. It will be done through the cooperation with experts from foreign universities. The cooperation will take advantage of former EUREKA and ERDI activities. ERDI is a consortium of universities from Slovakia, Finland, Netherlands, Hungary, Canada and Czech Republic that focuses its activities to the field of regional development education. The consortium has proposed a project to ERASMUS+ programme this year.
