From May 18 to 22, 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Public Administration hosted the in-person component of the Erasmus+ BIP ECOFINANCE 2026 program. The event brought together students from Finland, Poland, Portugal, and Spain to discuss topics such as green finance, the circular economy, and a sustainable future.
Key Takeaways from BIP ECOFINANCE 2026
✅ Green Finance: Defining key concepts in the field of sustainable investment.
✅ Circular Economy: Understanding the principles and evaluating circular business models.
✅ Impact of financial markets: Analyzing how markets and policies influence sustainability.
✅ Risk assessment: Application of analytical methods for measuring performance and risks.
✅ Teamwork: Development of strategic thinking and proposal of specific green solutions.
The main outcome of the entire program was the final presentations of student projects focused on green finance and sustainability. The program was also complemented by accompanying activities that introduced students to both the university and regional environments. They participated in a campus tour, a pub quiz, an excursion to Sféra in Pardubice, a laser game, and a final Friday trip to Prague, where they enjoyed a boat cruise followed by a tour of Prague’s historic center.
We would like to thank our partner institutions University of Helsinki, Krakow University of Economics, Instituto Politécnico de Gestão e Tecnologia, and Universidade de Vigo for the successful implementation of the BIP.
FEA international activities do not end with this BIP. The online portion of the next BIP Erasmus+ DIGI 2026 will begin on September 3, and students at our faculty will gather for the in-person portion on September 21.
