Banka na ekonomice v období 2007 až 2020. Analýza bude sledovat závislost mezi úrokovými sazbami České národní banky (ČNB) a ekonomickými ukazateli (HDP a inflace). Analýza bude provedena pomocí analýzy časových řad, konkrétně kointegračního testu Engle Grangera pro stanovení dlouhodobých vztahů, resp. Grangerový test kauzality (model VAR) ke zjištění krátkodobých vztahů mezi sledovanými ukazateli. Empirické výsledky neprokázaly dlouhodobé vztahy mezi úrokovými sazbami ČNB a HDP či inflací, tzn. že tyto úrokové sazby nemají dlouhodobý vliv na HDP ani inflaci. Zároveň bylo zjištěné, že ani HDP s inflací není dlouhodobě ovlivněno úrokovými sazbami ČNB. Výsledky analýzy však poukazují na krátkodobé vztahy mezi sledovanými proměnné, takže mezi nimi existuje kauzalita. Mezi ČNB byly zjištěny vzájemné příčinné souvislosti úrokové sazby a HDP. Stejných empirických výsledků bylo dosaženo mezi zájmem ČNB sazeb a inflace a byla zjištěna i kauzalita mezi inflací a úrokovými sazbami ČNB. Na základě těchto výsledků lze konstatovat, že měnová politika ČNB je úspěšná pouze krátkodobě při ovlivňování vybraných ekonomických ukazatelů	Česká republika; HDP; inflace; úrokové sazby; měnová politika
eng	The impact of monetary policy on economic indicators: A case study of the Czech Republic	The paper aims to evaluate the impact of monetary policy instruments of the Czech National Bank on the economy in the period 2007 to 2020. The analysis will monitor the dependence between the interest rates of the Czech National Bank (CNB) and the economic indicators (GDP and inflation). The analysis will be performed using time series analysis, specifically the EngleGranger cointegration test to determine long-term relationships, respectively. Granger causality test (VAR model) to determine short-term relationships between monitored indicators. The first step, using the Akaike criteria, was to determine the optimal delay of the entire time interval for the periods analyzed. Time series that appear to be stationary were excluded on the basis of the results of the Dickey-Fuller test. Further testing was continued with the EngleGranger test if the conditions were met. It was designed to identify cointegration relationships that would show the correlation between the selected variables. These empirical results did not show long-term relationships between CNB interest rates and GDP or inflation, which means that these rates do not have a long-term effect on GDP or inflation. At the same time, it was found that even GDP with inflation has not been affected by CNB interest rates for a long time. However, the results of the analysis point to short-term relationships between the monitored variables, so there is causality between them. Mutual causal links were found between CNB interest rates and GDP. The same empirical results were achieved between the CNB's interest rates and inflation, and causality was also found between inflation and the CNB's interest rates. Based on these results, it can be stated that the CNB's monetary policy is only successful in the short term in influencing selected economic indicators	Czech Republic; GDP; Inflation; Interest rates; Monetary policy
