cze Nerovnosti ve stavu zdraví v zemích Evropy a jejich determinanty Dosažení dobře fungujících systémů zdravotní péče je základním cílem pro všechny evropské země. Významné rozdíly ve stavu zdraví a kvalitě zdravotní péče však stále existují mezi evropskými zeměmi a také v rámci odlišných demografických či sociálních skupin. Na regionální, národní, na úrovni členských zemí EU a OECD i na celosvětové úrovni jsou shromažďovány, pravidelně aktualizovány a on-line publikovány rozsáhlé datové soubory různých ukazatelů o systémech veřejného zdraví. Paradoxně, právě rozsáhlost těchto datových souborů je příčinou toho, že bez alespoň základní statistické analýzy je míra poskytovaných informací minimální. Pokročilé statistické metody, zaměřené na snížení dimenze a kvantifikaci kauzálních vztahů mohou poskytnout významnou informační přidanou hodnotu. Cílem tohoto článku je analyzovat kauzální vztahy mezi zdravotním stavem, zdravotními výdaji a zdroji zdravotní péče ve vybraných evropských zemích a identifikovat determinanty nerovností v oblasti zdraví v evropských zemích pomocí aplikace vícerozměrných statistických metod. eng Inequalities in Health Status in European Countries and Their Determinants Achieving well-functioning health systems is a fundamental objective for all European countries. However, significant differences in health and in quality of health care still exist between European countries and also within different demographic or social groups. There are collected, regularly updated and on-line published at regional, national, EU and OECD member countries and on the world level the large datasets of various indicators about public health systems. Paradoxically, the extent of these data sets is the reason why without at least basic statistical analysis the level of provided information is minimal. Advanced statistical methods aimed at reducing the dimension and quantification of causal relationships can provide significant information added value. The objective of this article is to analyse causal relationships between health status, health expenditures and sources of health care in selected European countries and to identify determinants of health inequalities in European countries by applying multidimensional statistical methods.
