Snaha o udržitelnost vedla k vývoji různých nástrojů a technik pro měření pokroku. Tyto nástroje a techniky používané pro měření udržitelnosti se nicméně stále vyvíjejí. Řadí se mezi ně i metoda Sustainable Value, která představuje jednoduchý nástroj pro měření výkonnosti udržitelnosti a která integruje tři rozměry udržitelnosti: ekonomický rozvoj, udržitelnost životního prostředí a sociální rozvoj. Metoda Sustainable Value hodnotí, jak efektivně organizační jednotky (v této studii jsou těmito jednotkami míněny regiony) využívají své zdroje. Tento dokument využívá principy metody Sustainable Value s cílem určit, jak regiony v České republice využívají své přírodní zdroje. eng Measuring Environmental Performance of the Regions of Czech Republic by Sustainable Value Approach The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how efficiently the regions of the Czech Republic used their environmental resources. The quest for sustainability has led to the development of various tools and techniques to measure the progress of on-going efforts. These tools and techniques used for the measurement of sustainability are still evolving. Sustainable Value approach is another simple tool for measuring sustainability performance which integrates the three dimensions of sustainability: the economic development, environmental sustainability and social development. The sustainable value approach assesses how efficiently organizational entities (in this study: regions) use their resources. This paper uses the principles of the sustainable value approach to estimate how the regions of the Czech Republic utilised their environmental resources.
