Tento článek zkoumá a hodnotí konkrétní výzvy, trendy a vývoj e-governmentu v letech 2008 a 2014 v členských státech Evropské unie na základě globálních indexů rozvoje e-governmentu. Zaměřuje se na dopady a důsledky evropské recese, která začala jako globální finanční krize v roce 2007 a pokračovala evropskou dluhovou krizí od konce roku 2009. Cílem tohoto výzkumu je pochopení vlivu vybraných ukazatelů na rozvoj e-governmentu s cílem odhalit podobnosti a identifikovat oblasti, které byly ovlivněny krizí a vyžadují zlepšení. Výsledky mohou být použity k vytvoření účinnějších metrik a hodnotících rámců rozvoje e-governmentu. eng	Modelling E-Government Development through the Years Using Cluster Analysis	Every e-government development has its supporting factors and various limitations that hinder the implementation of e-government initiatives and further improvement of e-services. This paper examines and evaluates the specific challenges, trends and the progress of e-government between the years 2008 and 2014 in the European Union Member States based on the global e-government development indices. It is focused on the effects and consequences of the European recession, which started as the global financial crisis in 2007 and was followed by the European debt crisis since the end of 2009. The purpose of this research is to understand the influence of selected indicators on the development of e-government in order to uncover similarities and identify areas that were affected by the crisis a need improvement. The findings can be used to introduce more efficient measurements and benchmarking frameworks of the e-government development.
