Článek uvádí postoj podniků působících v České republice k benchmarkingu. Byla provedena rešerše literatury v oblasti vývoje, typologie a trendů benchmarkingu. Následně byl proveden průzkum analyzující využívání benchmarkingu a jeho jednotlivých typů v České republice. Článek popisuje charakteristiku studovaných podniků a porovnává je výsledky celosvětových průzkumů poradenských společností APQC a Bain and Co. Příspěvek se snaží odpovědět na otázku nakolik je benchmarking dnes využíván a zda je zapotřebí navrhnout nový přístup pro realizaci benchmarkingu, neboť bychom při hodnocení potenciálu benchmarkingu měli vzít v potaz vliv nových technologií, rozšiřujících se možností networkingu a také otázky týkající se environmentálních trendů a změny přírodních charakteristik. benchmarking; typy benchmarkingu; Česká republika
eng The Development of Benchmarking Implementation In Companies in Czech Republic The importance of benchmarking for business practice is in the long-term confirmed by numerous surveys, but there has not been any survey about the utilization of benchmarking in Czech Republic performed. The paper investigates the attitude of enterprises operating in Czech Republic towards benchmarking. Literature review about evolution, typology and trends of benchmarking was carried out. Subsequently a survey analyzing the use of benchmarking and benchmarking types in Czech Republic was accomplished. The paper outlines the overall characteristics of studied enterprises and contrasts them with research results of consulting companies APQC, Bain and Co. and APQC. The paper is trying to answer the question how much is benchmarking used nowadays and whether it is needed to propose a new way to do benchmarking. When assessing the potential of benchmarking we need to take into account new technologies, broader social networking opportunities as well as issues such as social and environmental trends and changing natural characteristics. benchmarking; benchmarking types; Czech Republic
