cze Vliv přistoupení k EU na korupci v ČR Vstup do EU znamenal jednu z nejvýznamnějších událostí v historii samostatného českého státu. Deset let od této události se ukazuje, že rozhodnutí České republiky v tomto směru bylo správné. Tématem příspěvku je problematika korupce, která je často spojována s přetrvávajícími nedostatky a selháváním demokratických a ekonomických reforem, zejména v nových členských státech EU. eng Impact of Accession to the EU on Corruption in the Czech Republic Entry into the EU meant one of the most important events in history of the independent Czech state. Ten years since this event, which we remind this year, show that the decision of the Czech Republic in this respect was correct. The topic of this paper is the issue of corruption which is often associated with persistent shortcomings and failures of democratic and economic reforms, especially in the new EU Member States. The paper contains an analysis of the influence of Czech membership in the EU on the status and nature of corruption in the country and discusses the benefits of Czech membership in the EU which result in building anti-corruption policy and its effectiveness. These issues are addressed in the article in retrospect the past ten years of membership of Czech Republic in the EU. Authors also deal with a broader context of the issue which lies in the attitude of the EU institutions on the issue of corruption, particularly in terms of preventive and repressive steps. corruption;anti-corruption policy;Czech Republic;the European Union;economic transformation
