Cílem regionální politiky je snaha o vyváženy rozvoj oblastí tak, aby mohly dosáhnout svého potenciálu a přispívaly tak k růstu státu. Státy, které prošly procesem transformace v 90. letech se potýkaly s narůstajícími meziregionálními rozdíly. Předkládaný článek se zabývá analýzou regionálních disparit v zemích Visegrádké čtyřky. Za základní faktor dlouhodobého úspěchu nejen regionů, ale i celého státu je považona konkurenceschopnost. Jde o důležitý ukazatel, který vypovídá o hospodářské a sociální situaci v regionu. Tento článek si klade za cíl zjistit, zda regiony, které vykazují vyšší konkurenceschopnost přispívají k vyšší efektivitě daného státu. eng	The analysis of regional differences in the Visegrad countries and their tendency to migration	Regions are considered the driving force of economic development and growth of national economies in the global economy. The aim of regional policy is effort to balanced development of areas, so that they can achieve their potential and achieve the growth of the state. Particular states that passed the transformation process in 90s had problems with the deepening regional differences. The article deals with the analysis of regional disparities in countries of Visegrad four. The fundamental determinant of long-term success not only of regions but also state is considered competitiveness. It is important indicator tells us more about the economic and social situation in the region. The article aims is determine regions, which are more competitiveness and contribute to higher efficiency of the state.
