cze Faktory ovlivňující přesnost finančních predikčních modelů Pro ohodnocení finančního zdraví podniku může být použita řada metod. Finanční predikční modely získaly popularitu pro svou objektivitu a zároveň i relativní jednoduchost a rychlost aplikace při analýze podniku. Nepřesnost hodnocení může vzniknout v důsledku přirozené chyby každého jednotlivého modelu. Hypoteticky existuje mnoho faktorů, které mohou být odstraněny, aby se zlepšila přesnost předpovědi konkrétního modelu. V procesu tvorby stávajících modelů bylo vzatu v úvahu jen několik z nich. Většina stávajících modelů byla vytvořena jako "univerzální" na základě vzorku firem bez ohledu na příslušnost podniku k odvětví, velikost, dobu existence, atd. V tomto článku jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumu provedeného na vzorku 594 českých firem.Cílem je ukázat vliv velikosti podniku na přesnost testovaných modelů. eng The Factors Affecting The Accuracy of Business Failure Prediction Models. A variety of methods can be used for evaluation of a firm financial health. Business failure prediction models have gained popularity for their objectivity and simultaneously a relative simplicity and a short time for conducting analyses. The firm rating inaccuracy caused by selected prediction model may be due to natural error of every particular business failure model (also called “financial prediction model”). Hypothetically, there are a lot of factors that could be eliminated in order to improve the prediction of a specific model, but practically their influence has not been statistically proven. Only several factors were taken into account in the process of model creation. Most of the existing models were created as "universal" ones based on a sample of firms regardless of their industry, size, period of existence, etc. This paper presents the results of research conducted on a sample of 594 Czech firms. The aim is to show the effect of a subject size on the accuracy of tested models. It can be deduced that the accuracy of the prediction would be higher if the model construction accepted the size of a tested subject. financial prediction models; accuracy of prediction; factors of accuracy
