V posledních letech se touto otázkou rovněž zabývá i Evropská unie (EU), což je důležité především díky návaznosti na finanční podporu z evropských fondů. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je v první části popsat aktuální situaci v oblasti elektronické veřejné správy v ČR, s důrazem na využití technologií cloud computingu, a následně porovnat související projekty v rámci EU a přiblížit možnosti a přínosy jejich implementace v ČR. eng Cloud computing as an approach for supporting more efficient processes in the public administration This article deals with the implementation of the cloud computing into the processes in the public administration in the Czech Republic. Recently, the European Union has begun to utilize cloud computing architectures, platforms, and applications to deliver services and meet the needs of their constituents, especially in the content of the financial tools set up to implement the regional policy of the European Union (Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund). This paper discusses the current use of the electronic services in the Czech Republic, with emphasis on the use of cloud computing, and then compare related projects within the EU and their importance and the possible implementation in the Czech Republic.
