eng Possibilities of Air Quality Modelling The paper presents a design of parameters for air quality modelling. The design is based on the previous correlation analysis and recommendations of notable experts in the given field. The parameters used for the modelling of air quality development include harmful substances in the air. Except harmful substances, other components that support the increasing pollution or its effects have also a significant impact on the resulting air pollution. The interaction of both types of parameters can cause the increase of air pollution and influence the human health this way. Air quality modelling can be realized based on the design of parameters. It consists in the classification of selected geographical areas (districts) into classes according to air pollution. This classification can be implemented on the basis of the limits for individual parameters (the indices of air quality), using unsupervised methods (to find areas with similar air quality), or by using methods based on fuzzy logic.
