Rozvoj je hodocen pro všech 14 krajů pomocí několika základních statistických metod a především pomocí prostorových analýz. Při hodnocení byla použita dostupná data pocházející z ČSÚ. Hodnocení například ukázalo, že před několika lety Praha významně přestihovala ostatní kraje, ale rozdíly se postupně snižují.
eng	Evaluation of Development of Information Society and Participation of the Citizens in the Czech Republic by means of Spatial Methods	The aim of the paper is to find appropriate methods for evaluation of development of information society and participation of the citizens in the Czech Republic during last few years. Development is evaluated for all 14 regions of the republic and it is done by means of basic statistical methods and mainly by means of spatial analyses in geographic information systems environment. Evaluation is based on available data which were provided by Czech Statistical Office. Evaluation for example showed that Prague (the capital) was a leader in the beginning but during last few years the other regions have closed the gap on the capital.	development of information society; methods
