Description:
Nowadays, the economic and social development of states is clearly influenced by the public policies. Proper and effective setting of public policies affects the activities of individual stakeholders. It is therefore in the public interest to carry out research activities that enable us to understand, capture or analyse dynamic changes in individual aspects of public policies. Presented project builds on the results of the SGS_2019_18 project. Its main objective is to contribute to the expansion of existing knowledge, especially in the areas of public policy that is implemented within selected (different) areas of public services, as well as within economic and regional (innovation) policy. The project will deal, for example, with the issue of (i) rational ignorance of voters and the results of public elections; (ii) the functioning of local government; (iii) the role of monetary policy in the environment of emerging financial risks caused by low interest rates. As the research team includes academics and students across faculty institutes, it will be possible to perform a multifactor analysis of dynamic changes in current innovative ecosystems and, at the same time, to identify the roles of individual stakeholders (from public and private sector). To firms, as an important players influencing economic and social development, and to their corporate culture attention will be also given, especially with regard to CSR issues. By using standard scientific methods, an advanced analysis of the economic and social aspects of public policies and their dynamics in the context of efficiency and sustainability will be carried out. It would possibly lead to the expansion of existing knowledge and to proposing of new practical implications that are useful not only for policy makers but also for private sector representatives.
