Project is focused on an issue of smart cities and regions. Their aim is to increase quality of life of their inhabitants with respecting principles of sustainable development. Technological, economic and social innovation are used to reach this aim. Cities and regions represent complex systems, their structure and behaviour must be known prior to implementation of new approaches. Their structure and behaviour will be modelled within the project based on adequate methods. Good quality data (including spatial data) belong to key features of smart cities and regions. Project is focused on data collection, processing and visualization of remotely sensed data with a special attention paid to UAV utilization. This is the reason why data collection, data processing, usability evaluation of maps and web-based GIS applications and cybersecurity are included. Efficiency of public budget spending is important too so i tis included as well.
