Project is focused on smart cities and regions concept. They implement economic, social and technological innovations to increase quality of life and to support sustainable development. Cities, regions and connected processes represent complex systems, which are going to be modelled by means of suitable methods and models within the project. One of key factors supporting successful development of smart cities and regions are data, including spatial data, at a good level of quality represent. The project focuses on ways of data collection, processing, analyses, visualization and distribution with an emphasis on utilization of UAV. Thus, usability evaluation of cartographic outputs and web-based applications, network connectivity and cybersecurity are included, besides data collection and analyses. Benefits of smart cities and regions projects and efficiency of public finance allocation are included as well because they can help to evaluate successfulness of the projects.
