At the beginning of July, prof. Jitka Komárková, and assoc. prof. Hana Kopáčková, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of Pardubice, visited the German partner university OTH Amberg-Weiden. The visit focused on the further development of the upcoming Master's programme in Economics and Management: International Management and Sustainability, which should offer students the opportunity to obtain a double degree.
During the visit, intensive discussions were held with academic staff, representatives of the study department and the international department. Practical aspects of the implementation of the programme, such as the recognition of courses, the organisation of teaching and the quality of education were discussed. At the same time, opportunities for cooperation on research projects and the Erasmus+ BIP joint programme were opened.
"This form of academic exchange is very inspiring for us. We believe that the double degree will increase the employment of our students in an international environment", said assoc. prof. Hana Kopáčková.
The joint programme will build on the existing successful cooperation between the two schools, which takes place mainly in the field of language education. The new programme will also connect study programmes focused on international management and sustainability. According to representatives of OTH Amberg-Weiden, the project will significantly contribute to strengthening the international profile of both institutions.
