At the turn of June and July 2025, a group of students from the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Pardubice, took part in the prestigious BIP4BALANCE programme, hosted by the University of Dubrovnik. The programme was organised as part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) and combined both virtual and on-site learning formats.
The online phase took place from May 5 to June 6, followed by a face-to-face component in Dubrovnik from June 29 to July 5, 2025
What Was the Programme About?
BIP 4 Balance aimed to equip participants with the knowledge, tools, and skills necessary to manage key aspects of their personal and professional lives. The programme focused on raising awareness of the importance of conscious decision-making in order to lead a fulfilling, sustainable, and emotionally balanced life.
The key areas included:
- The Art of Being Present – mastering time management, increasing productivity, and preventing burnout.
- Career Culture – defining career goals in alignment with personal values.
- Financial Literacy – basic financial planning and long-term decision-making.
- Life as a Playground – techniques for emotion regulation, stress management, and building resilience.
During the presentation part, assoc. prof. Viktor Prokop, Vice-Dean for External Affairs, gave a lecture on topic "The stakeholder, ecosystem and globalchallenge of the circular economy".
International Dimension
The entire programme was held in English and brought together students and lecturers from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Slovakia, creating a vibrant intercultural learning environment and networking opportunities.
